MyTools is a small collection of free online utilities built around one simple rule: your data stays on your device.

Why we built this

If you search for something like "compress image online", you will find hundreds of results. Almost all of them work the same way — you upload your file to their server, wait, and download the result. For a holiday photo that might be fine. For a scanned ID, a contract, or a client's confidential design, it is not.

We wanted a set of tools where that trade-off simply does not exist. Everything on this site is built with plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript that runs in your browser. There is no backend that receives files, because there is no backend at all.

What that means in practice

• You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools still work.
• We have no database, so there is nothing for us to leak or sell.
• We do not require an account, so we do not know who you are.
• Large files are not a problem for us, because we never handle them.

How we pay for it

Hosting costs money, so the site carries advertising. We deliberately keep ad placements limited and out of the way — you should never have to hunt for the actual tool on the page. We do not use pop-ups, interstitials, or auto-playing video ads.

What is next

We are steadily adding tools. Priority goes to things people actually ask for, so if there is something you need, please tell us. We would rather build ten tools people use every week than a hundred nobody opens twice.
